Our 60 gallon rain barrel is made of UV protected polyethylene with a durable wall thickness of 3/16 inch. It stands 39 inches tall, is 24 inches wide, and weighs 20 lbs when empty. The barrel come complete with an overflow fitting, drain plug, screw on cover, screen, threaded spigot, and complete installation instructions. Choose your color from Forest Green and Deep Earth Brown.

The 60 gallon rain barrel is thoughtfully constructed to make the most of captured rain water for outdoor irrigation use.

Lid – The screw on top is comprised of three parts including a fine mesh screen that will both prohibit debris and mosquitoes from entering the barrel. The air vents are situated so that air can flow into the barrel but direct sunshine cannot. This eliminates the potential for algae growth.

Spigot – The spigot can be installed in either of two positions. If the barrel is installed directly on the ground, the spigot can be placed midway up the barrel for convenience. If the barrel is placed on an elevated platform, the spigot can be placed at the base of the barrel. This will make the full contents of the barrel’s water easily available. The spigot comes complete with a threaded hose attachment for easy delivery of the captured water. A drip irrigation system can also be easily attached.

UV protection – the barrel’s material, polyethylene, and the paint is made to inhibit ultra-violet light, giving the barrel a very long life span and protecting the contents from algae growth.

Expandability – The rain barrel comes ready for easy expansion of a rainwater collection program. All that is required is a short section of standard garden hose. Simply place the barrels side by side and link them by placing the hose in the inlets at the top of the barrels. Once the first barrel is full, the rainwater will spill over into the next.

Automatic Downspout Diverter - Make the system complete and fully automatic with a downspout diverter. With a diverter installed, rainwater will automatically flow into the barrel, and when the barrel is full the diverter will automatically restore the flow of water back into the downspout system.

Made of sturdy steel with a powder-coated finish, the Automatic Downspout Diverter comes complete with installation instructions and a five foot section of hose. Choose your color from green or brown.
